About Us

    Growing up listening to Country Music, watching Hee Haw on television, and riding horses, we loved the small-town life and country feel. In early 2021, we were presented with an opportunity to join a local company that manufactures and sells cowboy hats. As we were retiring from our daily jobs, this seemed like the perfect choice for us.    We started out selling on the road at Rodeos, Country Music events, and local, state, and national fairs where we met thousands of friends who shared our love for country life. However, our dream was and has been to have a small western store as a home base, where our friends, new and old, could find us all the time, either in person or via social media or our website.

    After looking for the perfect spot for what seemed like an eternity, it happened! We opened The Rowdy Cowboy in December 2022 in downtown Tavares, FL. This doesn’t mean we won’t still be traveling, but we will always come back home. We look forward to seeing you soon!
